Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location. Easy to access Montpellier by the tram, which is about 100 meters from the hotel and takes about 10 minutes into the city. As you approach the hotel, the location appears less than ideal as it is on the side of a busy road, but the hotel is surrounded by green space and you feel like you are in the countryside. The pool is beautiful and sparkling clean. The restaurant is reasonably priced with lots of selection and excellent quality. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The only negative thing about this hotel is that the rooms do not have air conditioning or a fan. When we were there it was very hot and opening the window did not help much ( and brought in some bugs). Also, it was quiet most nights but one night there was a wedding and with the window open it was quite loud. I would give this hotel another star if the room had ac or a fan!

A hotel to stay for the night in case of long journey through. Good breakfast, friendly day-time staff. A swiming-pool
It was very hard to find the hotel even with GPS-navigator, the explanation over the telefone, made by the hotel staff was clumsy. There is a hole from bathroom to the bedroom, instead of the window, so you can hear all, that is happening in the rooms. The hotel is very worn. We were given 2 towels for 3 persons, one of them was durty. I asked for another towel, so I was given some, more like handkerchiefs.

Nice and polite personel, simple and good breakfast, original room in original hotel, swimming pool (not used), no noises that avoided sleeping (room was near the entrance), easy access to Montpellier centre ville.

The staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast was very good. The food at the hotel's restaurant was not bad. As a stopover hotel, it was fine and budget-friendly.
The rooms were dreadful - old and very basic but most critical, there are no fans or air-conditioning and no locks on the windows. The location is not the best. Despite the breakfast and friendly staff, I would not stay there again.

The only good thing to say about this hotel is the food. The lunch we had there was very nice.
This hotel is situated on an Industrial site about 10 mins drive from the town centre. You will definitely need a car here. The place had a feel like it could be or was once quite nice but it definitely wasn't at it's best when we stayed there (Nov 2011). The room was horrible, very basic, old and smelt musty. There were no plug sockets in the room (apart from one high up near the ceiling which the tv was plugged into), just one in the bathroom. Luckily we had packed a long extension lead. The bathroom was falling apart, lots of cracked tiles. There wasn't a proper shower, just a shower head from the mixer taps with nowhere to hang it. Even though there was a sign at the reception desk saying they spoke English, no one was able to until the morning of check-out when the manager/owner was there.

Easy to find with gps, however the street number is incorrect on Booked.net. Warm welcome, quiet, don't expect a modern stay. Rustic, colorful, with friendly staff. Great continental breakfast & good value restaurant for dinner.
Our room didn't have a shower. There was a large roman style bath in the middle of the room with a shower attachment. There was no fridge. The Booked.net description promises the staff have english. Be ware the wait staff do not have much English & there is no English menu.
